About us

Czech School of Portland was founded on April 18, 2012 by Katerina Bohadlova and Lida and Teresa O’Donnell.

Classes

We offer the following classes:  Preschool class in person, 1st through 9th grade classes and lessons online and in person, Conversation and learning lessons and classes for adults online and in person 

Our Team

Czech School of Portland has 4 great teachers and is managed by the Board of Directors. We would not be able to run the school without countless volunteers. 

News & Events

First and most importantly we teach Czech language and culture to anybody interested. 

We also organize monthly events for our Czech school family members and for all of our community members of all ages. Our most popular events are St. Nick's Christmas celebration in December and Easter celebration in the spring. We have many more other fun  events usually once a month. 

Czech School of Portland accepts money donations through one of these channels:

  1. Check mailed to the mailing address in the "About Us" section.

  2. No fee credit card payment through Zeffy. Select no "contribution fee" in the Zeffy payment form.

  3. Paypal payment. School pays the processing fee 2.29% + $0.09
